Set of manuscript orchestral parts, consisting of both manuscript and printed music. Parts for 1st violin/leader, second violin, viola, piano, clarinet, flute, cornet I. Manuscript instrumental music consists of a piece entitled "Picture music" and 29 numbered pieces, including curtain tunes, dances ("Egyptian dance," "Ballet music"), trumpet calls, a march, and "Battle music." Text underlay for songs and choruses appears in the piano part-book ("To thee, oh mighty Osiris," Hail to thee great Queen of Egypt," "Grieve not, oh Cleopatra," "From too much love of living," and "For today we take or give"). Printed music consists of: Ballet égyptien by Alexandre Luigini, Pasionaria danza by Jose Sancho (arr. H. Sator), and A Frangesa! by P. Mario Costa (arr. Sigfried Stenhammar).
